Absolutely insane!!! THE REVIEWS AREN'T WRONG!!! Great food, great service!! Love the atmosphere. Exactly what you'd imagine for comfort food and comfort restaurant in a good midwestern town. AMAZING PRICES AS WELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Joanna!!!
Great food! Great attitudes! Fun to be in small town America and eat at a REAL Cafe! We were traveling through Nebraska with our family and there were 8 of us. Seated immediately and had a wonderful breakfast. Just wish we would’ve been there later in the morning to try the pie! Charla was the best, very attentive and did a great job! Food was excellent!
Owner Joanna has a god-given talent for pie. Classic Midwest cooking & charm, Farmer’s Daughter is a MUST STOP if you’re driving through for antiques or breweries! The prices are fantastic (3.84 for cream pies & 4.05 for fruit pie!) Breakfast 8-12, Lunch 7-11 Daily specials (see photos). Also dog friendly! And the service is the best we’ve received in our ten day road trip thus far (truly above & beyond—even gave us free to-go coffees because we came before lunch ended and they heard we had a long drive ahead of us!) Chili bowl is huge and delish—only 5.50. And the chicken fried steak is a STEAL at 12.68 because it comes with a cup of soup, dinner roll, and mashed potatoes with gravy!! Grab a slice (or two) of cream pie for here a slice of fruit pie to go! Free parking lot next door.
Great food! Great pie! Really great food. It’s so good you have to try it! Also try the pie if I haven’t mentioned it yet ... friendly service. Great local place!
Shout outs from me on this great locally owned restaurant! Service food atmosphere We had breakfast, they have a daily lunch special on the chalkboard by the door
Ate here for the first time with a few friends that suggested this place. I had breakfast ordered the Sunshine and it was delicious similar to like a skillet meal you would order at Perkins. The portion size was heaping. Staff was friendly and the place was calming. I will be back sometime to try the dinner menu for sure.
Reminded me, in an old place, I used to go to back home in Del Rey called cannon hazels, very old school diner, breakfast place staff were amazing food was nice and hot. The french toast is bread dipped in pancake batter, two die, four I will post pictures. Now we'll be back next time in midtown.Thank you for your help, guys, you guys rock
